My name is Anita Mjobo , life for me has not been easy after losing my parents and being raised by my older sister who herself could not finish school since she had to go and do domestic worker in order to take care of me and my other 3 siblings. Before my mother past away Lungisani Indlela was there for us taking care of my mother when they had a home based care programme that’s how my siblings and I got to know the organisation. After she passed on Lungisani Indlela continued to support us under Back -2-School Programme we also received food parcels every month until my sister was old enough to apply for our foster grant. I am now in high school and I want to dream big. I just want to thank my sponsor Mr. Kevin Johnson ( Ride4Education) and ( Varsity College) for their sponsorship and the opportunity they gave me to be part of the “Rising Stars” a group of Lungisani Indlela learner that will receive an opportunity to study at the Varsity College when I complete my Matric.
