Feeding

Due to the high level of poverty in Amaoti, feeding is an ongoing need. Since the onset of COVID in 2020, the majority of families have suffered hunger due to the lockdown and businesses being affected. This was compounded by the looting in 2021 and the flooding in 2022.

We have been blessed with food hampers from numerous churches, organisations, businesses & NPOs, which have been distributed on an ongoing basis to the neediest of our families in Amaoti.

We also provide donated cooked meals to the community and to two volunteer-run satellite soup kitchens that cook for the needy on an ongoing basis.
